When you have a straight masonry chimney without offsets, nothing beats the durability, draft efficiency, and ease of cleaning provided by a rigid lining system. Our 316L Rigid Chimney Liner Kit includes everything you need to completely reline your chimney from the appliance to the crown. Constructed from premium, seam-welded 316L stainless steel, this commercial-grade system is engineered to withstand extreme temperatures and highly acidic exhaust, making it the ultimate safe choice for venting wood, pellet, gas, and oil heating appliances.
Stop guessing which parts you need. This all-in-one bundle provides a seamless, perfectly matched installation from top to bottom:
316L Stainless Steel Rigid Chimney Pipes: 24-gauge, high-grade rigid sections to form the core of your flue.
316L Rigid Tee with 10" Snout & Cleanout Cap: An OD (Outside Diameter) engineered tee to connect your horizontal stove pipe to the vertical rigid liner.
18-Gauge 304 Stainless Steel Top Plate (13" x 13"): A heavy-duty base to seal the top of your masonry chimney crown.
304 Stainless Steel Support Clamp: Secures the weight of your rigid pipe system at the top plate.
304 Stainless Steel Storm Collar: Deflects rain and moisture away from the top plate opening.
304 Stainless Steel Rain Cap: Prevents rain, debris, and animals from entering your new stainless flue.
PLEASE FACTOR IN A 2" LOSS PER EACH SECTION OF PIPE TO ALLOW FOR THE CONNECTION.
Maximum Draft & Airflow: The smooth interior walls of rigid pipe create significantly less drag than corrugated flexible liners, resulting in a faster, hotter draft and less creosote buildup over time.
Superior 316L Acid Resistance: The 316L alloy is required for the acidic condensation produced by gas and oil furnaces, while remaining incredibly durable for traditional wood-burning stoves. (Note: This alloy is not recommended for coal or corn burners).
Heavy-Duty 24-Gauge Construction: Standard rigid liners are made from thick, 24-gauge steel that will not crush or warp. (Need thicker? 22-gauge and 18-gauge upgrades are available by calling 1-877-486-8119 for a custom quote).
Should I buy a rigid liner kit or a flexible liner kit? If your masonry chimney is completely straight with no bends, offsets, or size reductions, a rigid liner is widely considered the superior choice due to its smooth inner walls and easier clean-ability. However, if your chimney has bends or shifted masonry, you must use a flexible liner kit to navigate those obstacles.
How do I install the rigid pipe sections together? Our rigid pipes are designed with precision male/female ends. The crimped (male) end should always point downward. This ensures that any acidic condensation or liquid creosote flows down the inside of the pipe walls into your cleanout tee, rather than leaking out of the seams into your masonry.
We strongly recommend using a polypropylene chimney brush versus any metal chimney brush. Polypropylene is non-abrasive and does not scrape the interior of the chimney liner. Metal brushes have an adverse effect on the liner.
