Whether you've come up a few feet short on your chimney relining project or you need to splice a new section of pipe into an existing, structurally sound flue, the 304 Stainless Steel EZ Coupler is your code-compliant solution. Engineered specifically for wood-burning and solid-fuel applications, this heavy-duty connector allows you to securely join two pieces of flexible chimney liner end-to-end without compromising the safety or draft efficiency of your chimney system.
Solid-Fuel Optimized (304 Alloy): Manufactured from premium 304 stainless steel, this coupler is highly resistant to extreme heat and standard creosote, making it the perfect, cost-effective choice for wood stoves and pellet inserts.
Heavy-Duty Band Clamps: Forget stripping sheet metal screws while balancing on a roof. This EZ Coupler features integrated, heavy-duty tightening bands that clamp down securely onto the corrugated exterior of your flexible liners, creating a tight, mechanical lock in seconds.
Seamless Male-to-Female Fit: Engineered with a distinct male and female end to ensure that your flexible liners slide together smoothly, maintaining the proper internal diameter for optimal exhaust flow.
Pro Tip: "Direction is everything when splicing a chimney liner! When installing your EZ Coupler, ensure that the male end is pointing downward toward your heating appliance. This 'water-shed' orientation ensures that any internal condensation or liquid creosote flows safely down the inside of the liner walls rather than seeping out of the connection joint."
Material: 304 Stainless Steel
Fuel Compatibility: Solid Fuels Only (Wood, Pellet)
Application: Connects Flex Liner to Flex Liner
Fastening Mechanism: Dual heavy-duty gear clamps

Is it safe to splice two chimney liners together? Yes, absolutely. As long as you are using a heavy-duty, stainless steel, mechanically fastened connector like the EZ Coupler—and following the correct directional flow (male end down)—your spliced liner will be secure, draft efficiently, and remain compliant with safety standards.
Can I use this 304 Coupler for a gas or oil furnace? We do not recommend it. Gas and oil exhausts produce highly acidic condensation that can rapidly corrode 304 stainless steel. If you are venting gas, oil, or coal, please search our store for the 316 Stainless Steel EZ Coupler to ensure maximum acid resistance and longevity.
