Description

Get reliable, efficient wood heat with the True North TN10 and TN20 Wood Stoves. Designed around simplicity, durability, and value, True North wood stoves combine rugged steel construction with catalytic-free tube combustion technology, giving homeowners clean-burning performance without the maintenance of a catalytic combustor.

Choose the compact TN10 for smaller heating demands or step up to the larger TN20 for greater firebox capacity, longer burn times, and higher heat output. The TN20 is available with either a traditional leg base or pedestal base, allowing you to select the look that best complements your space. True North constructs these stoves from quality 10-gauge steel and equips them with a gasketed cast iron door, heavy plate-steel top, and clean-glass air wash system.

Simple operation is at the heart of the design. A single-lever air control makes it easy to adjust combustion, while the tube combustion system and boost air support efficient burning. Both models can use inside or outside combustion air and are approved for mobile home installations when installed according to manufacturer requirements. An optional 80 CFM convection blower is also available to help circulate heat throughout the room.

The TN10 features a 0.8 cu. ft. firebox, accommodates logs up to 14 inches, and delivers up to 30,000 BTUs of cordwood heat output. For greater capacity, the TN20 increases firebox volume to 2.0 cu. ft., accommodates logs up to 20 inches, and delivers up to 55,000 BTUs of cordwood heat output.

Choosing Between the TN10 and TN20

Choose the TN10 when you want a compact wood stove with a smaller firebox and shorter fuel loads. Its 0.8 cu. ft. firebox and 30,000 BTU cordwood rating make it the smaller of the two True North platforms.

Choose the TN20 when greater firebox capacity, longer logs, and higher heat output are priorities. Its 2.0 cu. ft. firebox accepts logs up to 20 inches and provides up to 55,000 BTUs of cordwood heat output. Then choose between the leg or pedestal configuration based on the appearance you prefer.

Approximate burn times depend on draft, fuel, loading, and user operation. Always refer to the current True North installation manual and rating label for installation requirements, clearances, floor protection, venting, and approved configurations.
