- Fiberglass Rods - 3/8" Thread Fiberglass Rods - 3/8" Thread works great from the roof,but was hoping clean out could be done from the basement trap door,as my husband is 80 years old and needtobeclimbing on the roif,!doesYour company is great, but there should be some kind of a flexible rod to attach to these rods to make a 90degree turn from the trapdoor into the chimney from inside
