Installed this in an exiting terracotta chimney liner. Watched a YouTube video a few times to know exactly what to do, and read instructions. Everything went very well. I did have to add a piece of unidirectional stovepipe to make the final connection after going around the old chimney shelf, because the bend was just to tight. I needed one more inch of flex. Other than that it worked nicely. I have been burning wood through the new liner for about 2 months and it has been great. I will be cleaning flew for fist time at the end of the month and looks like it will clean easily with the smooth wall on the liner. Anyone with some confident D.I.Y. "The liner seems to be of quality material. I installed the new liner with the half inch insulation wrap by myself. I needed a little help from my wife to get it up the chimney. Hopefully this liner won't rust out like my previously installed stainless liner. Time will tell. My previous liner was installed 30 years ago and i am unsure of the brand. Wish I would have had it ovalized. 7" flue, but I should have had company squeeze to 5 or 4". Well constructed product.
